Went trekking with Karan and his team in the Fall of 2022 and had a great experience covering the Annapurna Circuit. The trek was beautiful and the guide team (Karan and two porters) significantly added to the experience. Our group did a custom trip for the 4-person group that worked well. The lodging and food they selected were great. The team added to the experience by making on-the-fly adjustment in the agenda (changing the overnight stay), booking a donkey to assist one of the group who developed a sore ankle, finding interesting dinner options (roasted chicken), and assisting with early exit family emergency transportation for one person in the party. More important than the logistics help was that the team was fun and engaging. When spending several weeks together, having a team that is fun to talk to and learn from significantly adds to the experience.

My wife and I together with another couple joined Raju pre-pandemic to experience the Manaslu trek. From the greet at the airport to the fairwell this trip remains top of the chart. From hotel accommodations, to trekking permits to everyday logistics of food and sleep in the tea houses Raju does it all. We had 2 porters hand picked by Raju who were also trained chefs. Every night they would enter the kitchen of whichever tea house we landed in and prepared tasty and hygienic meals. They were always keeping an eye out for food they did not trust for our North American stomachs. Weather, physical fitness, culture and more means that the unpredictable is unavoidable. You need a guide who can turn on a dime and Raju did it for; the initial bus breaking down and organizing jeep relief, adjusting itinerary for someone having to abandon the trip, making showers or cleaning facilities available as much as possible and managing the speed and needs of different people.
There are those experiences that come and go like an all inclusive beach get away that are most often forgettable, then there are those that will remain with you for life and that makes this one unforgettable.
Many years later we still keep in touch with Raju and his beautiful wife Punam and through WhatsApp have been part of them becoming parents through the arrival of Pranishna. 🙏 Namaste

Me and my boyfriend did the Everest base camp trek with Raju back in November. We had an incredible experience, Raju was very patient and kind and provided us with everything we needed when we needed it. He is knowledgable and experienced and can adapt the trek to your needs/preference. We always felt safe, comfortable, and confident with Raju.

Me and my partner visited the Himalayas last year for the first time and we soon recognised the reason this region of the world is known as one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Like who wouldn’t a trekking adventure through the mountains for 12 days, experience nature at its finest conquering Everest Base Camp at the same time.

Raju first met us at the airport and we rode a taxi back to our hotel, from the very first moment of meeting us he was very conscious of how we were feeling, were we tired after the flight, did we need some rest etc. After dropping us off and having some rest he returned later that evening to brief us on the trips itinerary and put our minds at rest. Fast forward to the trip, I can say hand on heart I don’t believe our trip would have been so enjoyable without Raju as our guide he was the most caring attentive guide we could have wished for. He’s been on the mountains since a young boy and knows the routes like the back of his hand, he speaks English proficiently and has a a ton of stories to tell you along the way. Raju has built him self a wealth of connections on the trek and because of this we always seemed to get the best hotels first, the bigger meals, the better rooms compared to the other trekking trips.

If you’ve never been to Nepal before it’s unlikely you know who your guide will be, it’s luck of the draw how good they’re going to be. We didn’t know Raju before we arrived in Nepal, so this time we hit jackpot.If you’ve got this far you now know the Himalayas best guide.

Me and my friend did Ghorepani Poon hill trek with Raju. It was an amazing one week short trekking experience in the high mountain. Very highly recommended trekking company, Nature Excursion Pvt. Ltd in Nepal. Raju is a very expertise guide, he knows everyone and all the places. He’s Also such a nice guy. We really enjoyed it.

Karan was our guide for a 16 day trek around the Annapurnas. Unfortunately, the weather did not collaborate and we had to interrupt the trip. Mother Nature threw monsoon rain and landslides at us left and right. Our guide Karan, and porters Emanuel and Hom were very nice, useful and professional. But more importantly they had our safety in mind at all time and kept us constantly informed of the situation as well as our options. While other trekkers were taking more risks and ended up stranded (some casualties happened and emergency evacuation by helicopter were necessary for some), we can say that we remained safe at all times. Karan, was quick on finding solutions. Also, the communication was constant and excellent, very good English. I definitely have unfinished business in Nepal and will hire Karan again.
