Karan Gurung
‘My motivation is your ultimate satisfaction.’
Mr. Karan Gurung is an excellent team leader and guide from the remote village around Ganesh Himal who seeks satisfaction in the happiness of people around him, whether it is his colleagues, friends, or family. At the same time, his clients remain his top priority.
Unlike others, he discovered his passion in the travel and tourism industry while pursuing his higher education in Kathmandu, which allowed him to associate with his family business of guiding, hosting, and leading adventures with a bachelor's degree in business studies from one of the most reputed educational institutes.
As a bachelor's degree holder, there were multiple career options for him, but he chose what he loved doing: meeting new people and exploring the different parts of beautiful Nepal, which offers something new to its visitors each time. Being a sporty person, what could be a better opportunity for him than leading other adventure enthusiasts to their dream place?
Although he began as a porter for 2 years and spent 1 and a half years as a trainee guide with all the required training and license, he later explored many beautiful parts of the country as one of the top guides, whose happiness is within his clients' joy and fulfillment of their wish to see real nature and the Himalayas. Now that he is the executive director of the nature excursion, he looks forward to 100% safety and satisfaction from the nature excursionist!

His expertise alone makes him stand out in the crowd of competitive markets, ensuring your comfortable stay in Nepal while you trek with Nature Excursion Pvt. Ltd., with the fact that he is a trained guide recognized by the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM), having completed Refreshment Training for Mountaineers under the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA).
Not only this, but he is also a certified mountain expert authorized by the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) for completing the 3rd Helicopter Marshall Course in March 2018 and a bachelor’s degree holder in management and commerce who enjoys overcoming the challenges set by life and the Himalayas, where his passion lies.
