To provide more comfort and services during the Everest base camp trek, we have designed this luxury package that will let you do this adventurous trek, enjoying many modern facilities. Our luxury Everest base camp trek is one of the best EBC trek packages that suit all types of trekkers with or without previous trekking experience.

Unlike the general EBC trek 14 days, we have added a helicopter flight from Kala Patthar to Lukla at the end of the ascending part, which makes the journey short and also lets you enjoy the spectacular aerial panorama of the Himalayas. Because our Everest luxury trek is only 10 days long, you can do this trek without worrying about spending two weeks or more.

You can do the luxury Everest base camp trek in March, April, May, September, October, and November. These months have the ideal weather condition perfect for trekking and helicopter flight. Trekking to the base camp of the highest mountain in the world is both adventurous and filled with cultural encounters. You will trek in the wilderness of the Khumbu region while learning about the Sherpas and their cultural heritage.

The Everest base camp trek route follows a rugged trail within the Sagarmatha National Park. The trail follows the Dudh Koshi river and passes by lush rhododendron forests and verdant hillsides. There are many suspension bridges on the way. You will spend nights in picturesque villages like Phakding, Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, and Gorak Shep.

Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,290 ft) and Dingboche (4,410 m/14,470 ft) are two acclimatization points as well. In these two villages, you will spend two nights and hike to Hotel Everest View (3,962 m/13,000 ft) and Nagarjuna Hill (5,100 m/16,732 ft), respectively. Likewise, you will visit Tengboche (3,860 m/12,660 ft) and Pangboche (3,985 m/13,074 ft) monasteries along the way.

These are the two oldest religious spots in the Khumbu region with great significance. The overnight stays in the villages will also let you see the lifestyle of the locals and their practices. The locals along the luxury Everest base camp trek route are very welcoming and friendly, so you will have a great time in the villages.

After Dingboche village, the trail goes above the treeline. So, the forested path ends, and you will trek on the glacier field and pass by the moraine. In this part of the trail, the mountains get closer, with barren hills all around you. You will trek along the Khumbu glacier and pass by the Khumbu glacier moraine before reaching Gorak Shep (5,164 m/16,942 ft). From here, it is around two hours walk to Everest base camp (5,364 m/17,598 ft).

On the last day of the luxury Everest base camp trek 10 days, you will hike to Kala Patthar (5,545 m/18,192 ft). It is also the highest point of the trek and is famous for its stunning sunrise over the Himalayan mountains. During the trek, you will see numerous gorgeous landscapes and breathtaking mountain panoramas. Everest (8,849 m/29,032 ft), Kanchenjunga (8,586 m/28,169 ft), Lhotse (8,516 m/27,940 ft), Ama Dablam (6,812 m/22,349 ft), Nuptse (7,861 m/25,791 ft), Thamserku (6,608 m/21,680 ft), Makalu (8,463 m/27,766 ft), etc are some famous mountains seen during the trek.

Can I extend the luxury Everest base camp trek to stunning Gokyo lakes?

If you want to make your venture in the Everest region more adventurous and unique, you can extend your trek to Gokyo lakes. On the way to Gokyo lakes, you will get to navigate via the Ngozumpa glacier, which is the largest glacier in Nepal, and also hike to Gokyo Ri, a viewpoint.
