The Ghorepani Ghandruk short trek starts with a drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. It is the starting point of the trek. From here, the trail ascends to Tikhedhunga. The trail goes past farming fields, lush forests, and villages like Birethanti and Sudami. From Tikhedhunga, we will ascend to Ulleri, following a series of stone staircases. Trekking through rhododendron and oak forests, the trail ascends to Ghorepani village, surrounded by lush rhododendron trees and snow-capped mountains.
The following day, we will hike to Poon Hill, the highest point of our Ghorepani Ghandruk short trek. We will get to witness a breathtaking sunrise and jaw-dropping mountain panorama from here. On the same day, we will descend to Tadapani and continue trekking towards Ghandruk village. We will trek through lush forests and small settlements.
Along the way, we will follow beautiful rivers, pass by lovely waterfalls, and cross many suspension bridges. While in Ghorepani and Ghandruk villages, we will get to see the lifestyle, culture, and practices of the locals. From Ghandruk, the trail descends to Nayapul, where the trek ends, and using a local jeep, we'll drive back to Pokhara.
