Trekking to Everest Base Camp during the autumn (from September to November)

During the spring, the flight to Lukla will also be regular and normal, but sometimes it might be delayed due to weather. Winter falls from December to February, which is the coldest month of the year. During winter, the temperature normally goes from -5 degrees Celsius in the daytime to -15 degrees Celsius in the evening, and there will be snowfall from the mid of the winter. If you are planning to trek to Everest Base Camp during the winter, you need to be well prepared with warm trekking gear.
People even do Christmas and New Year's trips to Everest Base Camp, which comes in the winter (December and January). This would be an amazing time to celebrate such occasions.
If you are planning your vacation in the meantime but cannot adjust to the extreme cold, there are options at lower elevations where you can do trekking, and they are the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, Langtang Valley Treks, and Mardi Himal Trek.
Everest Base Camp Trek during the Monsoon
The monsoon is the rainy season, which falls from July to August. During the monsoon, the environment is all wet due to the rain, and even some people don't like to walk in the rain.
During the monsoon, the flight to Lukla will not be certain due to rain and unpredictable weather, but there is an option to trek Everest Base Camp, taking a vehicle route up to Sallary and following the trekking route. It might take you a few extra days, but it will be worth it and safer than a flight.
Due to the uncertain flight to Lukla and heavy rain during the winter in Everest Base Camp Trek, trekkers may not like to do Everest Base Camp Trek, but instead you can plan your trip to Upper Mustang Trek. There is less chance of rain and a different beauty of Nepal than Everest Base Camp.
