Short overview of Short Everest Base Camp

Trekking to the Everest base camp is one of the bucket list adventures for thousands of travelers around the world, and it takes usually two weeks to 16 days to complete it. However, with our short Everest base camp trek package, you can do this trek in 9 days. This itinerary is different from our standard EBC trek but it lets you trek to the base of Mount Everest and return safely and quickly.

Similarly, unlike our usual Everest base camp trek packages, you will spend nights in villages that see a relatively low number of tourists than famous villages. You will be staying overnight in the iconic Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,290 ft) but not in Tengboche, Dingboche, and Lobuche villages. Instead, we have overnight stays in Pangboche (3,985 m/13,074 ft) and Thukla (4,620 m/15,157 ft) after Namche Bazaar.

We also do not have acclimatization days in this itinerary, which allows us to offer you this lifetime journey without spending much time. Not having acclimatization in our short Everest base camp trek itinerary doesn't make you any vulnerable to altitude sickness because we have designed the expedition in a way that will let you avoid it.

Not to mention, we care a lot about our budget travelers, so we have created this Everest base camp trek for 9 days, a very budget-friendly EBC trek option. You are not only reaching the lap of the highest mountain in the world in a short time but also saving a good amount of money. Additionally, we, Nature Excursion, also give special discounts to groups of 8 or more trekkers.

What more can you get? Our short Everest base camp trek is the perfect Everest trek package in 2023 and 2024. Trek with our native guides and porters, escape the bustle of the city and unwind breathing fresh Himalayan air, spend nights in beautiful Sherpa villages, enjoy the heartwarming hospitality of the mountain communities, and come across some of the tallest mountains in the world.

As our Everest base camp short trek does not include your arrival and departure from Kathmandu, you have to prepare for it by yourself. You have to be in Kathmandu for at least one day before we depart. The first day of the itinerary is to take a flight to Lukla and descend to Phakding village (2,610 m/8,563 ft) to spend the night. So, you have to be in Kathmandu one day before to meet with our team and pack.
